Sean Combs new channel called REVOLT TV joined other broadcast and cable networks in the tradition of holding their annual upfront. The channel, which launched in October 2013 has become an exciting and interesting force providing a platform for music television.
REVOLT TV is the multi-platform, multi-genre music channel showing videos from new artists to veteran bands. The channel’s first upfront presentation was held at the Marquee in New York City on April 22, 2014. The event kicked off with a red carpet, which featured a collection of industry elites including REVOLT Chairman
On stage, REVOLT Chairman Combs shared his thoughts about his latest venture, saying that REVOLT is an “omnifront” that targets “young people.” He urged advertisers to “join the party” and referenced the early support of Apple and Google. REVOLT CEO Keith Clinkscales added, “We are excited to celebrate our very first Upfront with an impressive slate of new brand initiatives that underscore our commitment to being the most accessible name in music on every platform.”
