Lincoln Park Music Festival recently welcomed, for the first time ever, AllHipHop.com and its very popular Breeding Ground emerging artist series to the Hip Hop Day stage on Sunday, July 27th, 2014. Hip Hop Day is one of LPMF’s most highly attended days and now, LPMF’s taking it to the next level with AllHipHop’s Breeding Ground.
The Breeding Ground section of AllHipHop.com was created to provide exposure for emerging or unsigned Hip-Hop artists. Featured artists have typically offered a number of aspects of excellence in the music game – quality music, buzz, and overall appeal and they have the potential to get signed to a major deal or have enough to garner national attention. The Breeding Ground Alumni includes Wiz Khailfa, Nicki Minaj, Skyzoo and many, many others all over the world. Performing at this year’s festival are Soul Khan, Audible Doctor, Jasiri X, and more!
Hip Hop Day’s late afternoon main stage will follow the Breeding Ground and is produced by Du Kelly (Lords of the Underground’s Do-It-All) of Newark based 211 Media Group, and will be hosted by hip hop icon Ed Lover and Sah B, with performances by DJ Cheese, Kazzie Pop and legends Brand Nubian among others while Hot 97’s DJ Wallah will keep the crowd jumping. More surprises to be announced!
Lincoln Park Music Festival is also proud to announce that, keeping in line with its community gardening, green jobs training and overall sustainability initiatives, the new Sustainability Village/Health & Wellness at LPMF. Village participants include Newark Beth Israel Hospital (Blood Pressure Testing, Glucose Screenings), City of Newark Child and Family Wellbeing (Mobile Unit onsite to do physical exams), St. Michael’s Hospital (Mobile Unit to do HIV Screening and Prevention Education), and others. Panasonic will be offering incentives to those attendees who check in at various points in the Village and participate in a Healthy Lifestyle activity.

The Company’s 45 Energy-from-Waste facilities provide communities and businesses around the world with environmentally sound solid waste disposal by using waste to generate clean, renewable energy.
