Wendell Pierce and Soledad O’Brien at Brooklyn Historical Society

c2a56fe1802170de379e3c69625ef6b3In celebration of Black History Month and the upcoming Billie Holiday Theatre production of “Brothers From The Bottom”, actor Wendell Pierce will sit down with award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien on Thursday, Feb. 19th at the Brooklyn Historical Society – 6:30pm for a conversation about his career, his starring role in the production of “Brothers” and the Oscar nominated film “Selma”.

Acclaimed actor Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Treme) will be appearing in Brothers from the Bottom at the Billie Holiday Theatre from March 6th through March 29th, joins us for an evening of conversation about this powerful play that looks at gentrification and the bond between brothers in New Orleans. Pierce will be in conversation with award-winning journalist, documentarian and producer Soledad O’Brien.
